Where We Guide
Our guides provide access to some of Colorado’s most beautiful and productive waters. Each location offers its own challenges, rewards, and scenery.
Private Waters
Fishing private waters in Colorado means access to stretches of river reserved just for your group. With fewer anglers and carefully managed habitat, fish grow larger and respond better to flies. Learn why private water is one of the most rewarding ways to experience Colorado fly fishing.
Seasonal Highlights
Colorado offers an incredible variety of fly fishing experiences throughout the year. From high mountain lakes near Rocky Mountain National Park and the South Park Reservoirs, to technical tailwaters like the Dream Stream and Deckers section of the South Platte, every season brings unique opportunities.
Our guests can explore small creeks such as Clear Creek and Bear Creek, they can wade iconic freestones like the Eagle or Colorado River, or chase trophy trout on private ranch waters just outside Denver and Colorado Springs. The diversity of these fisheries ensures that anglers enjoy fresh challenges and exciting fishing conditions no matter the season.
- Fall Fishing: As the leaves change and cooler weather moves in, large Brown Trout prepare to spawn and mayflies like Blue Wing Olives hatch, giving us some dry fly opportunities.
- Winter Fishing: We have many rivers below dams that are fishable all year round. Avoid the crowds and chase trout when most rivers are quiet.
- Spring Fishing: Trout wake up after a long winter hungry and on the feed! Also, a chance at big migratory fish on the famous Dream Stream.
- Summer Fishing: Fantastic options on both public and private water! Dry flies, nymphs, and streamers can all get it done. Want to avoid the crowds? Look into some of our exclusive private water leases!
