Fly-Tying Classes in Denver, Colorado:
Feel free to contact us at any time of the year if you would like an introduction to
fly-tying. Beginner classes usually run about three hours in length. We teach fly
proportions, techniques, thread control, and the essential whip finish. From
there, we proceed to tie several basic flies: the San Juan worm, Adams, woolly
bugger, and a basic nymph of your choice. These fly-tying classes are a great
introduction to the art of fly-tying. It is hard to describe the sense of pride people
get catching their first fish on a fly they tied themselves.
Classes will be held at a Denver area fly shop. All equipment and material will be
provided, but you are always welcome to bring your own equipment.
The price is $75 for one person and $25 for each additional person.
Please call Colorado Trout Hunters at 303-325-5515 for more information.
