Fly Fishing Rocky Mountain National Park:
Rocky Mountain National Park offers a wealth of outdoor beauty,
wildlife-viewing, diverse ecosystems, and fun alpine trout fishing!
When fly fishing in Rocky Mountain National Park, be prepared for
amazing scenery, beautiful small streams, lakes, and lots of trout.
Although the trout in the Park are typically small in size (6-14 inches is
typical), they more than make up for it with their beautiful colors and
the spectacular setting where they live.
When you are fly fishing in the Park you will have a chance at catching
brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, and the elusive greenback
cutthroat trout.
As on all our fly fishing excursions, trips conducted in the park are
catch and release fly fishing only. We stress the conservation of this
beautiful resource. We also enjoy educating our customers about the
fishery.
All Colorado Trout Hunters trips rods, reels, waders, boots, terminal
tackle are included in our trip price. Flies may be included for an
additional $10 per person on a 1/2 day trip and $20 per person on a
full day trip.
Visitors who wish to fish with our guides in Rocky Mountain National
Park are required to pay the entrance fee ($10 per person) into the
park in addition to our guide fee. A valid Colorado fishing licence is
also required.

under a Special Use Permit from the National Park Service.
