Andy Stutz:
Andy, a native of Wheat Ridge , Colorado, grew up
fishing the areas around Denver that he now guides.
Andy was a former fly fishing guide service owner and
has been in the fly fishing industry for many years. He
calls on his experience and boundless enthusiasm to
ensure that his clients go away from each day with a
grin, as well as memories that will last a lifetime.
Everyone who knows Andy will tell you he is a great guy.
Be sure to ask him about his newest hobby (hunting).
Andy is one of the only people I know dedicated enough
to the outdoor sports that he will to get up in the middle
of the night after bartending until 2 am to be the first one
on the river or in the hunting blind. Let's just say the
trout are in a lot more danger than the ducks!
Andy has a good eye for spotting fish and an
enthusiastic approach to fly fishing. He will work as hard
as possible to make sure that you have a great time
while you are chasing trout.
When you spend the day with Andy you will undoubtedly
learn a lot about fly fishing on our local waters. But even
more importantly, you will have a great time!
Favorite fishing spots:
Andy is at home on the South Platte River, especially on
the private waters that are available. He is very good at
fishing stillwaters as well. He gets just as much
enjoyment out of hopping small streams for brookies,
cuts, and browns as he does chasing big tailwater
trophies.
